Revlon Colour Ball!

Ok, so I dyed my hair red about 3 months ago and I absolutely love it.. I was previously dark/brown black so it was a big change. As red tends to fade, it becomes a bit of a pain having to dye it over and over to keep the colour so my friend recommened the Revlon colour ball:
(Feiry Red)

You just apply it to your wet hair like a conditioner and leave it for 3-5 minutes if you want it bright you can leave it on longer! It is a red substance and is quite thick. They cost around £8-£10 depending where you go, you can't get them in normal shops so have to either go on ebay or a wholesalers who specialise in hairdressing! It lasts for a while I would say about a month but it really depends on how long your hair is!

So, I loved this product it is easy to use but I would wear gloves as I didn't.. it did come off my hands but its a bit scary having red hands haha it made my hair really soft and healthy and it is easier and less messy than a hair dye. I have no problem with the price because it lasts and isn't used only once like normal hair dyes. The only thing that was annoying is that because it conditioned my hair it loosened my extensions and I had to stick them back in. Was worth it for the result though (I did have a before picture but deleted it by an accident but the colour was very faded and orangey):

So for people with red hair and hate it fading I could not recommend this enough! Even if it isn't red they do it a range of different shades just revitalize your hair colour

Models Own are a make up brand who specialise in bright colourful make up! I love anything bright especially nail varnish so when I saw that they were having a 50% off sale when they reached 10,000 'likes' on facebook I had to buy something! Basically, when you spent £20 or over on their products you got 50% off. Generally, their products cost £5 each, so in my first little wave of excitement I bought 6. Which are above! In order the colours are:

This one is called 25 carat gold. I have it on at the moment and its really nice. The nice thing with these nail varnish is that they glide on nicely and dry quite quick. One thing that I look for in a nail varnish is the stickiness when applying coat after coat and this doesn't have it which is great because I hate having to do it over and over until it is right! This is like a yellowy gold and has a nice shimmer to it, I love this one!

This one is Peacock Green, I love the colour it has different tones and different lights catch different colours again it is a shimmery teal like colour and it goes on really nicely... I like the name of this one I suppose this is what attracted me to it! I like how it is dark but in different lights it shoes different tones it has a silvery tone which sets it off!

This one is Green Flash, although the picture doesn't really show the green in it! It is like a golden green its a very different shade but I really like it, I like the tone and the shade and also how it just glides on without any mess or problems! Like all of them really. As well as a goldy tone it also has a silvery tone in the light which makes it different from any I have seen before. It reminds me of metal and I love it! I think this one is great for a night out.

This one is Deep Purple. I have one identical to this from the Gosh range, it reminds me of petrol as it has a few different tones depending how you turn your hand. This doesn't really do it justice as its hard to catch all of the colours in one shot. It is mostly purple but has a hint of green and silver, I really like it, again it goes on nicely and looks good also!

This is Feeling Blue, I love pastel colours they remind me of summer and look good with everything. They really stand out and I love statement nails! It is just a simple blue like the sky I suppose, it is not to bright but I find it to be a really nice shade of blue! Again, goes on fine, as its light it needs a couple of coats to have that solid blue as it looks like in the bottle but thats not a problem as it dries quickly and does not smudge.

This is Emerald Green and is my favourite from the whole lot, it is actually my favourite out of whole nail varnish collection. I love the name as im a big fan of The Wizard Of Ozz and Emerald City is associated with this film. As it is a glittery nail varnish it wil take a lot of coats to get it as thick as how it looks in the bottle but it doesn't take that long to do. At the moment I am into greens so I had to buy this! The only thing I don't love about it is getting it off, the glitter goes everywhere I also had a bit of my face haha I think it would be best to wear a base coat with this one! But all in all my favourite.

Just to sum these up, I would recommend Models Own to anyone I love a good quality Nail Varnish. I find with others such as Barry M go on all gloopy if you apply a few coats. I did splash out on a Dior nail varnish to see what the quality was like and I can honestly say it is the same as Models Own! The packaging is attractive, its simple but effective! I have ordered some more and also some eye shadow from their range so I will post when these arrive.
